Dr. Scott DeShong, a district employee and resident for nearly a decade, developed a 100-day entry plan centered on the theme “Communication, Collaboration, and Community.” This plan outlines a series of intentional activities designed to learn from and engage with students, families, staff, Board members, and local leaders. Building on previous experience and ongoing conversations with the community, the plan focuses on clear and consistent communication, strong collaboration across stakeholder groups, and meaningful community partnerships—all aimed at improving student outcomes and creating a shared responsibility for success.
