Real Estate Taxes
The School District tax year covers the period of July 1 through June 30 of the subsequent year. The Tax Office prepares annual real estate tax bills for the taxpayers in the Avon Grove School District on or about July 1 each year. Interim tax bills are mailed throughout the year when a change in assessment occurs.
All original tax bills are mailed to the last known post office address of each taxpayer as provided by the Chester County Assessment Office. If your mailing address changes, please complete and return change of address forms for the Chester County Assessment Office and for the Avon Grove School District.
If you have received a bill for a property that you no longer own, please return the bill to our office. Include the new owner’s name, if known.
The Avon Grove School District collects tax for the school district only. Please contact the County of Chester Tax Office for your county tax and your municipality for your local tax.
