                                                                  NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Avon Grove School District, organized under the law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with offices at 107
School House Road-Suite B, West Grove, PA 19390, will receive sealed bids until April 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM,
prevailing local time at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter. The project
consists of multiple work scopes and requires multiple prime contracts for the following projects:

• SHOWER RENOVATIONS AT AVON GROVE MIDDLE SCHOOL
• VESTIBULE RENOVATIONS AT PENN LONDON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Bids shall conform to all other requirements as more fully set forth in the bidding documents. The Avon Grove
School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in any bid, to eliminate or reduce
items or quantities, and exercise its judgment as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered.
Bidding Documents will be available February 24, 2026 at 2:00 pm.

Bidders are required to secure a complete set of Bidding Documents for all contracts. A complete set of Bidding
Documents in PDF electronic format may be secured only through the Share File link from the offices of KCBA
Architects, 8 East Broad Street, Hatfield, Pennsylvania, 19440 (Phone: (215) 368-5806). A nonrefundable fee of
One Hundred dollars ($100.00), payable to the Architect, is required to obtain the documents. Email: bids@kcbaarchitects.
com to register as a prime bidder. The Share Link will be provided when payment is received. Additional

A pre‐bid meeting for the project will be held at 10:00 AM, prevailing time, March 19, 2026 beginning in the
main entrance at Avon Grove Middle School, 257 State Road, West Grove, PA 19390. Upon completion of the
meeting at this site the meeting will move to Penn London Elementary School beginning at the main entrance at
383 S. Jennersville Road West Grove, PA 19390. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT ALL BIDDERS ATTEND
THIS MEETING.
AGSD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to award contracts to one or more
bidders, and to waive any or all informalities in connection therewith at its discretion. Subject to AGSD’s right to reject
all bids, the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder providing the combination of bid options selected
by AGSD as being most favorable to AGSD taken as a whole. In the event of any claim by any unsuccessful bidder
concerning or relating to the issue of “equal or better” or “or equal”, the awarded bidder(s) agrees, at its own cost
and expense, to defend such claim or claims and agrees to hold AGSD free and harmless from any loss or damage
arising out of this.

Each Bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, money order or cashier’s good faith check payable to the
Order of Avon Grove School District, or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent (10%) of the total bid,
as security.

Performance and Payment Bonds are required. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit in
the form set forth in the Bidding Documents.

Bidders on this Work and all subcontractors shall comply with all provisions of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.

Bidders on this Work and all subcontractors shall comply with all provisions of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth
Procurement Code for Prevention of Environmental Pollution.
