Employees enter the District through the Personnel Department, which posts vacancies, reviews applications and interviews and recommends candidates for hire in cooperation with other members of the administrative staff.

Required Employee Clearance Information

Upon hire, the following clearances must be completed and submitted through the Frontline Central links you received with your onboarding information. Upload clearances as they are received.

Clearance reports may take up to 14 days to be received, so please plan accordingly.

• FBI Fingerprinting (Act 114)
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)

 

Pennsylvania Criminal History (Act 34)

1. Apply at EPATCH.
2. Choose Submit a New Record Check.
3. Accept the Terms and Conditions.
4. Choose Individual Request and click Continue.
5. Choose “employment” as the Reason for Request.
6. Fill in the requested information and click Next.
7. Review the entered information and click Proceed.
8. Enter the additional requested information and click Submit This Request.
9. Make payment with a credit card and click Submit.
10. Once notified that the check has been completed, click Print Certificate to print the actual clearance.
11. Upload the certificate to Frontline Central.

FBI Fingerprinting (Act 114) 

You must be fingerprinted at a PDE approved IdentoGO site.

Online registration is required prior to being fingerprinted at a public site.  A few local public IdentoGO fingerprint locations are listed below.   Fingerprint Registration 

1. Enter 1KG6XN as the service code for Pennsylvania School Districts. If a service code is not requested/entered, you are at the incorrect place to register.  View screen shots for clarification.
2. Click Schedule or Manage Appointment.
3. Enter requested personal information.
4. Create security question.
5. Enter requested personal information.
6. Do you have an authorization code? Answer is no.
7. Enter requested personal information.
8. Choose the required documents that you will bring to enrollment.
9. Select a location. Choose a date and time.
10. Go to the scheduled appointment to be fingerprinted. Payment is made at fingerprint site.
11. Upload your unofficial report to Frontline Central. The report is 2 sided and both pages are required.

You will receive an unofficial report only. You will not receive a report in the mail.

Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)

1. Apply at Child Welfare Portal.
2. Choose Individual Login if you remember your username and login. Users cannot rest or recover a User ID. If you do not remember the login you created, use the Create Individual Account to get a new username and password to access the system.
3. Click Access My Clearances.
4. Review the information and click Continue.
5. Enter your username and password and click Login
6. Choose Create Clearance Application.
7. Review the information and click Begin.
8. Choose “School Employee Governed by Public School Code” for the Purpose of Clearance and click Next.
9. Enter Applicant Information and click Next.
10. Enter Current Address information and click Next.
11. Enter Previous Address information and click Next.
12. Enter Household Member information and click Next.
13. Review the Application Summary and click Next.
14. Electronically sign the application
15. Answer NO to Did an organization provide a code for your application?
16. Click Make a Payment, enter your credit card information, and click Submit.
17. Once your application has been processed, you will receive an email to log in to your account and view/print the clearance results.
18. Print the clearance.
19. Upload your clearance to Frontline Central.

Users may not reset or recover their User ID. If you forgot your User ID, please refer to the email titled “Commonwealth of Pennsylvania – New Account Information” that was sent to you upon account creation. This email contains your User ID. If you no longer have this information, you must create a new account. If a new account is required, users may use the same email address registered with their previous account. If you continue experiencing issues logging in to your account, contact the CWIS Support Center at 1-877-343-0494.
