The nurses’ office is in need of sweat pants and long sleeved shirts for children who need clothing changes during the day. If you have any clothing your children have grown out of, or if you would like to make a donation of sweat pants and/or shirts, please send them to the PLE nurse’s office as soon as you can. FROM THE PENN LONDON PUBLISHING ROOM:

We are in need of wallpaper, which we use to make the covers for student books. Please consider donating leftover wallpaper or sample wallpaper books. For more information, please contact the Reading Office.

The PLE Nurses' Office is in need of new and used clothing. We need NEW boy's and girl's underwear in sizes 8, 10/12 and 14/16. We also need unisex sweat pants, new or used. We need shirts for both boys and girls that are NOT turtle neck, button down or sweatshirts. The shirts should be pullover or t-shirt type.

We can always use shoes in sizes 13 - 5. Please always think of the PLE nurses when you go through your child's outgrown clothing!!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The Library needs your help! Absolutely no experience is necessary. Would you help us for two hours a week? Call Miss Belknap or Mrs. Bhan and we will find a job you like to do in the Library, on any day you prefer (morning or afternoon). Posted 11/29/07

Throughout the year some of our children have to stay in for recess due to injury or illness. We have a few puzzles, paper and crayons. We are looking for a few games. Do you have any games, blocks, or Legos that you are no longer using and would like to donate? If so, please send them in to the nurses’ office.

Also, if you have any sweat pants or girls leggings that you would like to donate, please send them to the nurses’ office. We are always changing children for spills or accidents and pants that stretch work best. If you have any in sizes 6 to 12 we would love to have them. Thank you! 2-8-07 Posted

DON’T THROW THEM OUT!
Recycle those old holiday cards! If you still have your Christmas cards and would like to recycle them, please send them in to the nurses’ office. We send the cards to a boys home that uses them to raise money. Any cards you have can be used by this organization.

HAVE OLD BOOKS LYING AROUND? HATE TO THROW THEM OUT? The Publishing Rooms at Penn London are in need of old hardbound books to recycle for the making of the children's published stories. If you have any that you are not using, please send them to school. They can be dropped off at the office. The Reading Specialists would appreciate any of your donations.

Headphones from your old CD players, radios and computers! These headphones will be used on our computers in the classroom to reduce the noise and help with concentration. If you have any headphones to donate, please send them into your child’s teacher or send them to Leigh Anna Moran (computer lab teacher). Thank you! Posted 1/08
