Highlights from our Team Spirit Day!
Congratulations to grade one teachers Mrs. Engel, Miss Miller, and Mrs. Taylor! Their students, Zachary H., Glen M., and Marisa T., entered them into the "My Teacher for President" Contest sponsored by the Pennsylvania PTA, and all three of them won for our region! Next, the students' entries move to the state level. The PLE PTA sponsored the contest here, donating the book, My Teacher for President by Kay Winters, to the school library. Ms. Belknap, the librarian, read the text to all of the children while preparing for Kids Voting USA. The students, their parents, and the teachers attended a reception in their honor, at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore in Fairless Hills, PA, on Saturday, November 20.
