School will be closed for winter break from Thursday, December 24th through Sunday, January 3rd. School will resume on Monday, January 4th.

Good news! The PTO has extended the deadline for team spirit wear. Orders are now due by Friday, December 18. Hooded sweatshirts and T-shirts are available for purchase to show your team spirit.

FSEMS will dismiss at 12:20 on December 23rd for the winter recess.

The CCIU is offering information sessions for parents of children with autism.

The Fall 2009 edition of the District's newsletter also features facilities and finance updates and a overview of proposed course guide changes for the high school next year.

Please donate a new toy to be delivered to the Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children in memory of Christina Loeffler, a student in the AGSD. Our hopes are to put a smile on the faces of children that will have to spend their holiday away from home. A collection box is in the main lobby. Please send any questions to fillstocking@aol.com

Orders for the 2009-2010 Full Color Fred S. Engle Middle School Yearbook are now underway and will be on sale until Dec. 23rd.  Please make all checks payable to Fred S. Engle Middle School in the amount of $20.00.  Cash and Money Orders are also accepted. 

The Middle School will be collecting new and gently used coats, hooded sweat shirts, scarves, gloves, hats and blankets to give to those in need in the Avon Grove School District. Collection boxes are located in the main and gym lobbies.

Submissions are now being accepted for the Citadel Heart of Learning Award.  This award is given annually by Citadel Bank to recognize excellence in teaching.  To nominate a teacher, please click here or send written nominations to:
