The Chester County Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), is pleased to once again sponsor the DAR Good Citizens program in our area. We hope that your high school will participate in this program which honors an outstanding senior class member who demonstrates the qualities of a good citizen. The chosen student may also participate in the statewide scholarship portion of the program. Home schooled students are not eligible for this award.

Only one winner per School. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Poore in the guidance office.

Now in its 56th year, the US Senate Youth Scholarship Program offers an outstanding opportunity for superb student leaders. Sponsored by the William Randolph Hearst Foundation, the program features an all-expense paid, week-long adventure (March 3-10, 2018) with government leaders in Washington, DC, as well as the award of a $10,000 collegiate scholarship to each of two delegates from each state.

Only ONE student may represent each local school.

Students who took a Keystone Exam in Algebra I, Literature, and/or Biology in spring of 2017 and scored within 15 points of Proficiency are eligible to participate in a 4-day intensive Summer Remediation program to prepare for Summer Keystone Testing. This program is free of charge.
