Substitute School Nurses are Needed
Thank you for your interest in employment with our district.
The Avon Grove School District employs a pool of substitute school nurses who
work on a per-diem, on-call basis. As a substitute school nurse for Avon Grove,
you may choose which (and how many) days you would like to work and which assignments
you would like to accept. You can even specify the school(s) where you’d like
to be assigned!
We are always seeking qualified school nurse substitutes to work with our students.
Our daily substitute rate is $90.00. After the 20th day, the rate increases to
$95 a day.
If you’d like to join us as a substitute school nurse, please apply by submitting
a complete application to Wendi Lee Foltz, Director of Personnel at 375 South
Jennersville Road, West Grove, PA 19390. After we receive your complete application
packet we will contact you to set up an interview. A complete application packet
includes the following: a cover letter stating that you wish to substitute, resume, standard
State of Pennsylvania application, copy of your nursing license, copies of
certification (if
you are certified), unofficial transcripts, three letters of reference, and Acts
34 and 151 clearances. FBI
background checks are required for all hired on or after April 1, 2007.
