Free and Reduced-Price Meals Available for Qualified Applicants
Avon Grove School District also provides reduced-price breakfast for 30 cents and reduced-price lunch for 40 cents.
Students may qualify for free meals or reduced-price meals if the household income is within the limits of the Federal Income Guidelines. A parent/guardian must complete an application and return it to their child’s school to confirm eligibility and enroll. Only one application should be filled out for all students in the household.
The application must include all student names, the names of all household members, the amount of income each household member received in the prior month and the income source. All applications must include the signature of an adult household member along with that adult’s social security number.
Parents/guardians have two options for submitting an application, either electronically through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Access to Social Services (COMPASS) Web site, or by completing a paper application and returning it to your child’s school. A paper application can be downloaded from the Avon Grove School District Food Service Web page. Paper applications will also be distributed the first week of school.
