New Library Software

December 13, 2006 Exciting times lie ahead in the AGI Library! Over the next 4-5 weeks, all four district libraries are moving to a new software system for managing circulation and cataloging of materials. As you might imagine this requires a massive shift of information from our current system to the new. We will be sending our existing records out for conversion on Friday, December 22nd, 2006. The new software system will not be up and running until the week of January 22nd, 2007. We’re asking for your help during this time period.
  • Please encourage your child to return his/her materials (especially overdue items).
  • Please be aware that beginning the week of December 18th, students will be allowed to circulate only one book at a time.
  • We are attempting to complete this changeover with as little disruption of service as possible.

We appreciate your understanding and patience while we all learn a new system!
