The West Grove Fire Company has been awarded a federal grant to purchase smoke detectors with a 10-year lithium power battery so that high-risk people will have a device that will continue to operate for 10 years without the need to change its battery. They have also purchased detectors that are designed for the hearing impaired. These particular units will be installed by an insured and bonded electrician at the fire company’s expense.
Part of the goal is to ensure that every resident in the AG area has working smoke detectors, especial-ly the older population and the very young, who are the most vulnerable. The West Grove Fire Company will provide and install smoke detectors free of charge to area residents who need them. Please provide the following information to the West Grove Fire Company by phone (610-869-9326), mail (PO Box 201, West Grove, PA 19390), or email smokedetectors@westgrovefirecompany.org Country Christmas- Saturday, December 2October 26, 2006 The 15th annual Country Christmas will be Saturday, December 2, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at AGIS.
