Full Buses

The following buses are full so bus passes cannot be issued for the following: Bus 9,10,11,16, 17, 21, 27, 35, 47, 50, 52, 54, 64,76,80,88 and 89. Please be aware that many other buses are near capacity and limited to 5 passes per bus: therefore we will NOT be able to issue passes for any groups of students for birthday parties, scout meetings etc.

PA Department of Education Publishes 2010-2011 School District "Report Cards"

Avon Grove School District's 2010-2011 State Report Card is now available on the Pennsylvania Department of Education's Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) Website. The state Report Card, based on data from the annual Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) tests, details 2011 information on student and school achievement, accountability, highly qualified teachers, and other indicators. Child Find Special Education Screening Notice

The Avon Grove School District reminds residents that they can make an appointment with the District to have their child screened to determine if the child may be in need of a special education program. The procedures and activities, known as Child Find, are performed to identify children who are suspected as having a disability that would interfere with their learning, unless special education programs are made available. El Avon Grove School District recuerda a los residentes que ellos pueden hacer una cita con el Distrito para analiza su hijo para determinar si el niño puede estar en necesidad de un programa de educación especial. Los procedimientos y actividades, conocida como “Child Find”, han hechos para identificar niños que se sospecha que tienen una discapacidad que pudiera interferir con su aprendizaje, a menos que los programas de educación especial están disponibles. Notice of Adoption of the CCIU's Policies, Procedures and the Use of Funds

On May 26, 2011, the Avon Grove Board of School Directors approved a Notice of Adoption of the Chester County Intermediate Unit’s Policies, Procedures and the Use of Funds, for the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act – Part B funding for 2011-2012, as required by federal and Pennsylvania Department of Education regulations.
