Alexander Ly has been named the Rotary Student of the month for January.  Alexander is the son of Tokleang and Na Sok of Avondale.  Alexander is involved in school activities such as the Avon Grove High School Peer Tutoring Program.  Alexander’s honors include Top Ten and Distinguished Honor Roll.  Alexander plans on majoring in Engineering in college.  He feels that Mr. Habbart and Mrs. Weyman have influenced him most at Avon Grove.

Heather Reburn has been named the Lions Club Student of the month for January.  She is the daughter of Alan and Denise Reburn of Lincoln University.  Heather’s list of school activities includes National Honor Society, Student Counsel Historian, Indoor Track and Spring Track.  She is also very involved in community activities including Girl Scouts of America and working at the Giant Food Store.  Heather’s list of honors includes Girl Scout Silver Award and Track Captain.  Heather plans on attending college to study Elementary Education.  She wishes to thank Mr. Howard and Mrs. Hunter for having the most influence on her at Avon Grove.
