Attention all members of the Avon Grove School District community and the surrounding areas: Would you like to make a difference in the education and overall success of the students attending school in your community? Can you spare at least one hour of time each week to help tutor students in Math and/or Reading? Thanks to the new Volunteer Integration Program (VIP), we are offering tutoring to students who are struggling in Math and Reading to help improve their PSSA scores. We are in need of volunteers to help make this program a success.
Parents, this could be your chance to get involved at your son or daughter’s school and help a child in need at the same time. Senior citizens over 60, you could use these volunteer hours to help reduce your property taxes up to $500 through the Tax Relief Program. When the education of our students improves, everyone benefits.
