Please be advised that the Avon Grove School Board of Directors approved the following motion at the April 22, 2010, school Board meeting:

Motion to approve, as a pilot program, the Avon Grove High School Student Activity/Student Athletic fee of $25.00 per participant, per year, for the 2010-2011 school year (see details below).

Each Avon Grove High School student participating in one or more interscholastic athletic program and/or one or more non-academic competition activity, as described below, shall pay a one-time, non-refundable fee of $25.00 for the 2010-2011 school year.

The fee must be paid by each participant prior to the earlier of the first regular practice or the first event.  For activities or athletic teams that have tryouts to determine team or activity members, the fee must be paid after the tryouts are completed and before the first regular practice or event.

The $25.00 fee is an annual (school year) one-time fee for each Avon Grove High School participant on an interscholastic athletic team and/or a non-academic interscholastic competition including cheerleading, marching band, color guard and indoor percussion.  The fee is non-refundable.

Waiver of the fee, based on the proven financial hardship, may be considered by the High School Principal, Assistant Principal/Athletic Director or Assistant Principal/Activities Director on a case-by-case basis and granted at their sole discretion.

If you have questions, please contact the Athletic Director at Avon Grove High School.
